Dawn Metott earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY Oswego and has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State since 2006. She has an extensive background in child & adolescent counseling, child development, and life transitions.
Dawn specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with mental health concerns, struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship conflicts, and trauma. She has over 18 years’ experience working with children & adolescents both supportively and therapeutically.
Dawn is also a certified Approved Clinical Supervisor providing support and supervision for new counseling professionals.
Sessions and supervision are provided in-person or virtually.

With a Masters in Mental Health Counseling ('18) and a Certification in Advanced Study (CAS) in School Counseling ('18), both earned at SUNY Oswego, Melinda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice.
Melinda's true passion lies in trauma-informed care, where she is well-versed in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and utilizes a variety of other treatment approaches, carefully tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients. Kaylee Damm is a limited permit holder in Mental Health Counseling after earning her master's degree at New York University in 2023. She also earned an advanced certificate in LGBTQ health, education, and social services.
Kaylee's passions for care center around LGBTQ mental health concerns, but she also has a focus in relationship conflicts, sex-related topics, internal family systems, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and depression.
Kaylee works out of New York City, but she provides virtual care to individuals or couples within New York state.
We are excited to have Matthew as our office manager and intake coordinator. He will be providing administrative support to our practice, updating social media, coordinating contact with new referrals, checking insurance eligibility, maintaining client waitlist, and initial client intake paperwork. Matthew is trained in HIPAA compliance and confidentiality to ensure clients information safety.
Kayla Hamilton is a limited permit holder in Mental Health Counseling after earning her master's degree at Cazenovia College in 2023. Kayla has completed internships in both a private practice and elementary school setting.
Kayla's passion in therapy work is centered in anxiety disorders, tween/teen issues, and life transitions. Kayla also enjoys working with individuals experiencing communication and stress management concerns.
Kayla provides virtual care to individuals within New York state.
Meet Taylor, a provisionally licensed mental health counselor with a master's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo (2021). Deeply passionate about supporting teens and individuals in their 20s and 30s as they navigate the complexities of anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, and elevated stress levels, Taylor's background in primary care mental health brings a unique perspective that integrates both mental and physical well-being into her sessions. Her therapeutic approach is individualized and collaborative, ensuring that each client feels empowered to explore the concerns that matter most to them.
Taylor strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space to uncover the root causes of your challenges and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Building meaningful relationships with her clients is at the heart of all her sessions. She believes that true healing happens when you feel heard, understood, and supported in your journey.
Taylor is a safe and affirming space for those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Telehealth counseling is provided to those residing anywhere within New York state.
